Porsche Master 418

The Porsche Master 418, built in 1960, was one of the most significant pieces of my private collection—a powerful, unpretentious tractor that leaves a lasting impression both technically and aesthetically. With its air-cooled four-cylinder diesel engine and 37 kW output, it is considered one of the strongest models that Porsche has developed in the agricultural sector. Restoring it was a personal passion of mine. It was meticulously restored over several months at the highest level of craftsmanship—using only original parts, with a lot of patience and an uncompromising focus on quality. The entire technology—from the hydraulic system to the power take-offs at the front and rear, the fast gear, the wheel weights, and the front weight—was carefully inspected, overhauled, or faithfully replaced. The tractor was subsequently TÜV-certified, fully road-legal, and equipped with an up-to-date appraisal. As a former farmer myself, this tractor was more than just a technical object for me. It was a piece of memory, a symbol of honest work and mechanical clarity—and I am grateful that I have now been able to pass it on to trustworthy hands, to someone who truly appreciates its history, quality, and charisma.
